Well, I’m nearing my Spoleto 2000 writings, and Spoleto 2023 is going on, so I thought I might share some of these over the next 2 weeks.

Starting with two about our great American sculptor, Joel Shapiro.

This first, about his being the featured artist for Spoleto 2000, and designing that year’s poster. Appropriately titled, “Untitled” — like all of his scluptures!
